Are you looking for something fun to do on Saturday, July 14th??  Well come on out to the Jasper County Fairgrounds and watch some of the best trucks around compete for bragging rights of making a full pull!  Whether you are a Ford, Chevy or Dodge fan there will be something for everyone to cheer on, including a local class!!!  It's going to be something you don't want to miss!  The event is put on by the Indiana Truck Pulling Association.

Monday, July 18th

We will be showing goats on Monday of the fair and we have a large amount of goats signed up. Dairy-40, pygmy-88, meat goat-114 ( goats are by far the fastest growing animal project at Jasper County). We are looking forward to having a very good show with lots of new members. Come out and see your relatives, neighbors and local hardworking 4-Hers show off what they have learned and labored on this past year.

We just finished up our new washrack and we are hoping to see it get a lot of use. We are thankful to Mr. Larry Minter, Hamstra Builders, and Operation Roundup (Jasper County REMC) for the financial support and the labor required to construct the new addition.

This year’s Jasper County Fair Queen Pageant will be held on Friday, July 8, 2011, at 7:00 pm in the West Exhibit building at the Fairgrounds.  Nine Young Ladies will be competing for this year’s crown.  The contestant’s are:  Rachel Norris, Tara Pattengale, Brittany Hilton, Ashley Skinner, Marissa Myers, Jessi West, Lauren Hardin, Jessica Hopper and Reagan Goodman.  They have worked so hard this year and would appreciate your support as they are “Dancing in the Moonlight!”  Tickets are $5 at the door and children 5 and under are free!

The Jasper County Fair Association welcomes the ITPA to the Jasper County Fairgrounds, to put on another fantastic show for our community!  This is a great show for people to come out and cheer for their favorite trucks!!!  Go to www.indianatruckpullers.net to view the trucks and to learn more about them.

The ITPA will be putting together several classes: 4-wheel drive, 2-wheel drive, Diesel and a local diesel competition!!

Infield: $8.00 (All Ages)

Gates open 1 hour prior to event.

Be sure to attend the Mud Drags and cheer for your local contenders!!!  Side by side racing for the fastest time in 150 feet.  There will be stock trucks, full race trucks and ATV’s!!!

If you want to race in the Mud Drags, be sure to sign up from 3:00-5:00 pm on the day of the show.

proud of some recent canning or other food preservation? 

Or have you been sewing, quilting, crocheting, knitting, 

or any other craft activities??? 

The Open Class Building at the Jasper County Fair is the 

place to share all these talents and more!  Check the 

fairbook for a complete list of the classes available to 

enter.  Fairbooks, entry tags and entry forms are all 

available at the Extension Office before the fair.  All 

exhibits need to be entered July 16.  Check with the 

extension office for further details...
